According to this article, Shuttle Endeavour launched 18:03 EDT yesterday from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.

According to this article, Apollo 11 Mission Summery, the crew launched on 16 July 1969 at 13:32 UT from Cape Kennedy.

Foundation and Earth

I'm reading the book Foundation and Earth by Isaac Asimov -- it is the 7th and final book of his Foundation Series. In 1966 the first three book written in this series -- actually books 3, 4, and 5 as far as the story is concerned, received a one-time Hugo Award for the all-time best series.

Monthly Meeting

We had a nice meeting this month, and then Mike, Nik, Al, and I went to see the new Transformers movie. It had great special effects and a lot of action. After the movie, we went to McDonald's for supper.
