Sunday, I attended these panels:
MATT SMITH, FROM BOW TIES TO FEZ: A RETROSPECTIVE Ballroom F – 50 minutes Join us as we discuss Matt Smith’s time in the TARDIS. What were your favorite and least favorite episodes, supporting characters, themes, and hats? We will also discuss the longterm effects of Matt’s tenure and the growth in popularity of the show during his time. LET’S BUILD A SPACE HABITAT Ballroom E – 50 minutes Panelists will explore the lift, energy, and space industries needed and assess how practical it might be now, or in the near future. Do we yet know how to grow enough plants to be self-sustaining once it’s built? Will we have to have access to the moon or asteroids first? Could the GBB MegaCorp do it (Gates, Buffet, and Branson)?
